  • Nasal septum: median osseocartilaginous partition between the two nasal cavities, forming their medial wall.
  • Meatuses are the passages beneath the three conchae of the lateral wall.
  • Little's area is a highly vascular zone on the anteroinferior septum, the commonest site of epistaxis.
