Femoral Ring
- Femoral ring: upper end of the femoral canal, opening into the abdominal cavity.
- Normally closed by the femoral septum, a fatty areolar tissue.
- Cloquet's node, a lymph node, is situated within the femoral canal.
- The canal provides a dead space allowing the femoral vein to expand during increased venous return.
